Yesterday the five students presented their interim findings of the Carefully Designed competition at the NHTV Breda. They have analysed the environment and created appropriate model for this. Several reference projects were investigated in order to achieve a better understanding of the Healthcare 2.0 and its integration. The various reference projects have resulted in bricks and floor plans for the development of the site.
The interaction between the environment and the planning area, between local residents and residents were the common thread of the presentations. The integration plays an important role to be able to connect these different functions of the design of public spaces and green structures. The accessibility, use of the functions and public space requires profound elaborations for the students.
It has been an interesting day where we all could jointly discuss the future content of the Mikado site. We wish the students good luck!
