Taking inspiration from the rural nature of Horst, this plan sets out a design that is tailored to residents, the neighbourhood, and nature. For instance, the plan creates hills on the plot as a sustainable method of integrating the natural landscape. At the same time, the plan ensures that the buildings themselves have sustainable features, including solar panels and green roofs that both cool the building and retain heat. The clusters of buildings have a circular configuration, so that care can be given effectively and efficiently. The entire area is publicly accessible, with the residential clusters creating a connection to the landscape and the hills serving as recreational areas.
