Pieter van Dieperbeek – Alderman Municipality of Grave, Noord Brabant.
Pieter van Dieperbeek was born and raised in Veghel, Noord Brabant. For over 10 years, he worked as a teacher/dean in technical vocational education. Van Dieperbeek has been politically active since 1987; as a member of the city council of Veghel and later for more than 16 years as Alderman in Veghel.
He continued his career as a self-employed Coach and Mediator. Later, Van Dieperbeek worked as Alderman ad interim in Sint Michielsgestel and today he holds function as Alderman in the municipality of Grave. Ancillary functions (among other) are Member of Supervisory Board – Skipov Primary Education, Chairman of the Advisory Council Social Domain, Member of Supervisory Board, north-eastern Brabant Libraries.
Since October of 2017, Alderman van Dieperbeek has held the position of Alderman in the municipality of Grave with the portfolios Spatial Planning, Public Works, Environment and Economic Affairs.
When judging the Redevel(o)p submissions, which aspects in particular will you be paying attention to?
‘My points of interest in relation to the design competition is the innovative aspect of the offered concepts and the practical feasibility, appropriate to the target group and also appropriate in the environment. Keywords for me are creativity, innovation and reality.’
